Angus is a New Zealand trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Hip, Knee and Shoulder problems.
Angus graduated form Otago Medical School in 2001 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Accepted into the Orthopaedic Advanced Training Programme in 2006, he gained his specialist Orthopaedic Fellowship in 2011.
Angus embarked on further specialist training in Melbourne, Australia. During this period he concentrated on his areas of expertise including Hip and Knee Joint replacement, and Keyhole surgery of the Knee and Shoulder.
Angus regularly presents and contributes to local and international conferences, and has been invited to teach current and future Orthopaedic Surgeons both nationally and internationally in the areas of hip and knee surgery.
Angus remains current with all areas of orthopaedics and provides a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Angus’ private practice is based at Royston Hospital, and he also retains a Consultant position at Hawkes Bay Hospital.
