Specialist training
Graduating from Otago Medical School in 1999. Stephen completed his Specialist Training in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2010. He undertook fellowships in Shoulder, Elbow, and Hand surgery in Waikato, and Perth, Western Australia before returning to New Zealand to take up a Consultant position at Hawkes Bay DHB in 2012. Stephen is currently the Head of Department in Orthopaedics at the DHB.
Stephen has special interests in
- Joint replacement of the Hip, Knee, and Shoulder
- Sports injuries of the Shoulder and Knee
- All Orthopaedic conditions of the Shoulder Elbow and Hand
