Shoulder, Hip, Knee and Spine Surgeon

I am an Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 20 years experience in private and public hospital practice.

After completing my Orthopaedic training in New Zealand I was awarded a Nuffield Medical Travelling Fellowship which allowed me to complete post graduate Fellowships in shoulder surgery, hip and knee arthroplasty and spine surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore, London, United Kingdom, and at the Hospitals for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London.

Whilst in the United Kingdom I also obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and passed the Intercollegiate Examination in Orthopaedics and Trauma.

My Bachelor of Arts degree was in Latin, Philosophy and History.

My current practice remains in shoulder surgery, hip, knee and shoulder arthroplasty, knee surgery and spine.

I am also committed to the public system where I manage trauma and undertake elective surgery in the sub specialities above.

I have been, and am involved in the training of Orthopaedic surgeons and have served on the Orthopaedic Education Committee which is responsible for the selection and training of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
